November 2004
Speaker and moderator during the Opening Session of the Bar Association's 2004 Bench-Bar Conference. Opened the Conference with introductory remarks to the more than 400 judges and attorneys in attendance. Introduced the featured lecturers: Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Cappy, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas President Judge Massiah-Jackson, and Philadelphia Municipal Court President Judge Presenza. Moderated the panel discussion involving Chief Justice Cappy and President Judges Massiah-Jackson and Presenza, as well as all of the Administrative and Supervisory Judges from Pennsylvania's First Judicial District.

levels of experience. Gave presentation as member of ethics panel.

and taught by Department Chair to graduate students pursuing dual doctoral degrees
in law and psychology.
Third Circuit Community Outreach Pilot Workshop for
Teachers
March 2001
Invited by Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to
present appellate moot court argument as part of a workshop organized by the
Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The workshop was attended by federal
and state judges, members of the Bar and high school educators, and was designed
to introduce teachers to the federal courts and assist them in teaching high
school law courses. Was one of only two attorneys from the Third Circuit who
was asked to argue the moot court case.

be a panelist during the 1999 Third Circuit Judicial Conference, a bench-bar
conference. Served on a panel with two federal judges and discussed issues pertaining
to indigent criminal representations.

October 1998
Invited by Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to
be a panelist and speaker during the 1998 Third Circuit Judicial Conference,
a judge-only conference. Served on a panel with six federal judges and led discussion
pertaining to due process considerations that arise in indigent criminal representations
because of funding issues.
