The Elmwood Park Zoo welcomes over 130,000 visitors annually and has been a vital educational and civic institution in Norristown for the past 85 years. The Zoo fosters an appreciation of wildlife and their habitat, and inspires active participation in conservation in a fun, clean and family-oriented environment.
The Education Foundation of Lower Merion

The mission of the Education Foundation of Lower Merion (“EFLM”) is to provide a fundraising vehicle for the entire community’s voluntary support of programs and activities enhancing the educational experience of all Township public school students, consistent with the goals and policies of the Lower Merion School District. The EFLM is a non-profit institution and operates independently from the School District.

Located in Lower Merion Township (Montgomery County, PA), the UFA has served the communities of Bala Cynwyd and Merion for more than 100 years. The firefighters of the UFA not only selflessly protect the public in times of crisis, but also provide important community outreach. For over a century, the UFA has been a central feature of these historic Philadelphia suburbs.
Philadelphia Research & Education Foundation

The Bala Cynwyd civic association, known as "The Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd," was established in 1906 and is one of the oldest and most well respected civic groups in eastern Pennsylvania. The civic association regularly monitors commercial development, zoning, education, and quality of life issues in Bala Cynwyd (Montgomery County, PA), and is a frequent presence at state, county and township hearings and meetings.

Philabundance

Philabundance is a non-profit organization that fights hunger and malnutrition in the Philadelphia and suburban region by forming partnerships with private sector companies to gather surplus food and distribute it to local social service agencies that assist people in need. The Media & Government Relations Committee performs policy making and lobbying activities.
