Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, the Conference Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s
2004 Bench-Bar Conference, is pleased to announce that the Bench-Bar Conference
was successfully conducted at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City on
November 5 and 6, 2004. The Bench-Bar was attended by over 425 attorneys and
guests, including more than 100 local and state judges. The 2004 gathering was
the first Bench-Bar hosted by the Bar Association in more than 17 years. The
success of the Bench-Bar was highlighted by a special announcement at the conclusion
of the Conference by incoming Bar Association Chancellor Andrew S. Chirls who informed
the hundreds of attendees that the Bar Association would host the Conference
again in 2005.

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he has been elected Chair of the Federal Bar Association’s Criminal Law Committee, Eastern District of Pennsylvania Chapter. The Criminal Law Committee is the only bar association which caters to the needs of federal criminal defense practitioners in the Philadelphia area. The Committee offers legal education programs pertaining to rapidly evolving federal criminal law. Additionally, the Criminal Law Committee ensures that an open and productive dialogue exists between the defense bar and the Courts, prosecutors, the Probation Department and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Mr. Lindy previously served the Committee as Vice Chair and Treasurer, and chaired the Publicity and Membership subcommittees.

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, a sole practitioner with offices in Philadelphia,
is pleased to announce that he was elected to the Board of Directors of the American
Civil Liberties Union-Greater Philadelphia Chapter. He was elected at the ACLU's
Annual Meeting conducted at the University of Pennsylvania on March 16, 2004.
Mr. Lindy is a former federal and state prosecutor who concentrates his practice
in criminal defense and commercial litigation. He is currently the President
of the Bala Cynwyd civic association. Mr. Lindy is past Chair of the Board of
Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that Philadelphia
Bar Association Chancellor Gabriel L.I. Bevilacqua, Esquire,
has appointed him Chair of the Bar Association's 2004 Bench-Bar
Conference. The Bench-Bar, one of the highlights of the legal
community's year, will take place on November 5 & 6 at the
new Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. The entire Philadelphia
legal community will be invited to spend a weekend with the
City's Judiciary to discuss, debate and analyze in an informal
and relaxed atmosphere issues of importance to judges, lawyers
and clients. The weekend will feature receptions and a wide
assortment of CLE's.

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he
was appointed by Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor Gabriel
L.I. Bevilacqua, Esquire, to serve as a delegate from the
Bar Association to attend this year's American Bar Association
Mid-Year Meeting. The ABA's Mid-Year Meeting, held in San
Antonio, Texas this year, is an opportunity for the nation's
leading lawyers to gather and discuss issues of importance
to the legal community, our political institutions, the Judiciary
and our clients.

relocated his offices to 1800 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Suite
1500, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19103. Mr. Lindy's newly
built suite features hardwood floors and oriental rugs, in
addition to beautiful views from the 15th floor of the office
building located on the southwest corner of 18th and JFK.
